Dopo il Nintendo NES Mini, anche SEGA torna con il SEGA Mega Drive, in concomitanza con i 25 anni della serie Sonic. La software house ha annunciato infatti che a ottobre la console tornerà sul mercato, in due differenti versioni: una casalinga e una portatile.
La prima disporrà di due controller e garantirà il supporto delle cartucce originali, oltre a uno slot per le schede SD. Entrambe la piattaforme hanno un costo di 49,99 sterline e conteranno al loro interno 80 videogiochi, i seguenti:
